This is just trivia, but prostate cancer is odd in that you frequently don't treat it at all if you're over 65 since it often grows so slowly that you're likely to die of something else before it ever becomes a problem.

I'm a huge Jeopardy fan. My daughter and I dvr every episode. Love Alex Trebek even tho he can be a bit condescending at times and fairly annoying when he tries to pronounce foreign words with perfect accents - but that's Alex and he's perfect for the job. I did find it amusing when he said he wished he'd met his wife when he was in his 20's (He met her when he was 54) Of course she's 24 years younger than he is, so that's a bit strange!

I think the odds get much higher for those who make it past the 65 year mark. Average age of diagnosis is 70.

I don't know if that is due to cancer. If you see what he said, he's almost 80, and has lived a full life.
