Pancreatic cancer took my dear mother back in 2000. Praying for Alex, but the odds are not good at all.

mazzag]This hit me in the gut when I read this earlier today. I pray he beats it. Pancreatic cancer took my grandfather when he was 52 and my TAMU roommate's mom when we were sophomores. I thought this was worth sharing.
Perhaps your roommate's mom had another form of cancer that women can get?
What??
Yes! I hadn't had my second coffee yet and apparently it was needed. Deepest apologies and now I'll edit.mazzag said:

c- Trebek has always seemed smug to me, the way he reads off the correct answer like he knew it all along.
Is that you SNL Sean Connery? Are you being serious or are you doing a bit?
I laugh every time I see or hear this - so great.Lt. Joe Bookman said:

I think the odds get much higher for those who make it past the 65 year mark. Average age of diagnosis is 70.New World Ag said:
Strange coincidence....Art Fleming, the host of the original Jeopardy! died of pancreatic cancer. Here's hoping Alex can beat the odds.

No kidding, pretty sad that Yahoo would use clickbait about a man's life like that but not surprising.Beware of Doug said:Click bait titleJunkhead said:
