I hope this really screws over the scalpers.

So round 2 is happening now. They are basically holding a lottery for 5th member and legacy fans to see who wins a spot to buy tickets this week and then allowing you to buy them if you win next week. Tickets are attached to your phone number so you can't transfer them unless you sell your phone and number also.

I won contest 3, non floor seats. Could potentially be better than what I have for first night (lower bowl), since there are a few rows of seats along the floor that are a higher price point.

hah.. hey well a die hard fan of almost 30 years (and a paying member of their club for ~15 years) is allowed to catch a break now and again!

Also, my snake pit was just a extra that came with what I actually I won.. The Meet & Greet.

hell yeh.. got section 3 row 4, the area in front of lower bowl. This is like 30' from stage, and elevated above floor.

I couldn't get a consecutive pair, but I did get another single, section 113 row 7. Not sure if I'll be able to work out a seat swap, but oh well. Maybe just squeeze two people in one seat's spot.

I won a second chance entry for tomorrow. It says that I'm not guaranteed a seat (and the seats probably won't be that good), but at least there's a chance!

When you are in, don't try and select a seat; on the right is two tabs - select seat and 'best seat'. Go to best seat column, scroll down some and list pick one.

I spent 10 damn minutes trying to select a seat by zooming in to the venue. It says 'another fan beat you to it' but this was on legacy sale so everyone was guaranteed a seat, or just toon a while to secure one. And they were getting further and further back. Your sale is not that case.

Just pick one from best seat option that is further down the lake for your best chance. It's much quicker than zooming around.

Yes! Not the greatest seats ever (aisle seats though!) but I'm just happy I'll be there. Now, on to flight and hotel searching...

Mine were $100, but they went all the way up to $500. I tried for the crazy expensive seats in the first drawing but failed. Learned my lesson this time!

upper half of upper bowl $50 plus fees
lower half upper bowl $100
Lower bowl $150
Risers in front of lower bowl (Where I got second night) and back rows of floor $200
Third row of floor $300
Second row of floor $400
First row of floor $500

Fees on $50 ticket were like $20, ranging up and beyond $100. My fee on $200 ticket was $50.

I bought a second ticket for second night assuming I'd get one of my metallica friends to go, but not a whole lot of luck so far. I guess I should have been more realistic that it's a sunday night, in CA!

I paid for my +1 for night 1 (my brother), and also had to get a hotel to extend the trip (staying across from SFO to catch a 6am Monday flight), so I'm looking to probably sell my +1 on night 2 since I'm a bit overextended on this show as of now hah. I'm in over $1100.

Anyway, I'd be willing to sell for much less than stubhub to someone here wanting to go. For reference, seats near mine are going for $700+ each.
