Anyone else watching?
Season 1 was, well different, and the final episode was controversial.
But the first episode of season 2 was really good, and I looked on IMDB, all 8 episodes are over a 9 rating right now. Looks pretty promising.

I binge watched the whole season over the last 3 days. I feel so ashamed. Do they have something like alcoholics anonymous for Netflix abuse?

It got a lot weirder than the first season but was actually a lot more interesting in many ways. I don't want to give away any of the plot, but the very end gave me the same WTF? feeling that I had at the end of the first season.

Better or worse than a tooth extraction?

I have no idea if I want to give S2 a shot, while the premise and 90% of the show was interesting. That ending was one of the stupidest season endings I have ever seen. It wasn't even badly written, it's just plain stupid.

I get paid good money to do those so I would say worse.

Man... I love a good weird show but I'm not sure I can dive back into this one...

The dancing was crazy stupid, I can understand if people couldn't get past that. The underlying premise wasn't bad though, and season 2 has a better feel to it thus far for me. No dancing through 2 episodes anyway, and the guy that plays the PI is really good in his role.
I have heard, as referenced above that the season ending is crazy again though.

Refresh my memory...did the dancing help stop the shooting? Didn't it just distract the shooter momentarily? The dancing was so awkward and distracting I can't remember what I think was supposed to be a memorable ending.

I think the shooter felt awkwardly embarrassed for them then he tried to shoot them because of how stupid it looked thus saving some lives.

I could be wrong though, I tried to forget that series.

I am through five episodes and it is still much better than season 1. Every episode for the season is still 9 or higher on IMDB too.
Was thinking about it today, it almost has a "Lost" feel to it, Lots of weird seemingly unconnected supernatural threads happening at once, and great episode endings that suck you in for the next one.
And no, no one has yet danced, other than maybe a quick flashback.

I just finished season 2. As swimmer said, it was hard to remember things from the first season. The ending this time was a major wtf, though I don't mind. I thought it was a good show. While the dancing is so awkward it started to not bother me anymore.

Around episode 5 or 6 they turned the weirdness factor up to 11.

I have questions for those that are finished, but I hate using the spoiler tags...ha

I agree the dancing is terrible but I couldn't help but laugh when they do it. It is quite funny regardless.

I think it is just their ridiculously crazy way to show us that these people have such a strong connection in the original dimension that they are connected to each other in many other dimensions.

I enjoyed S2 more than S1. I was into S1 until that ending...at least the S2 ending doesn't make me want to vomit.

Are we supposed to take away that the bird going through the window screwed up whatever OA was doing?

Well that was interesting.
Yes, for those that care there were "movements" in episodes 6 and 8. They make more sense in the context of the show than the season finale did in 1 though.

As for the season, definitely better than one. The finale does have a WTF ending, but also a ton of mind bending possibilities for season 3 if there is one.

Interesting. Surprising yet not at all surprising amount of hate for this show. But kudos to you who hated it for watching it in its entirety and giving it a chance.

While I'll admit, the interperetive dance element was kind of a head tilt moment at first, I accepted it quickly and allowed it to play its part in the overall story. It's easy for some and impossible for others to suspend notions of absurdity to enjoy a show or movie. I enjoyed it. Season 1 had such a heavier and more mysterious feel to it. It was a lot sadder. Especially the side of the high school kids. Season 2 was a complete psychedelic trip. And I love that kind of stuff. The ending was super feel good which I'm ok with. They pulled that off well. But how out there it was kind of overshadowed the subtle character building and tone set by the first season. Felt like different writers which I know it was not. I hope they do a 3rd

I enjoyed both seasons a lot. The moves don't get me all worked up like some of you. The choreographer of the moves happens to be Ryan Heffington, also known for his work in the Sia and Sigur Ros videos.

Dancing and transformation are not a new concept. It worked very well as an element of this show.

Still have a few episodes left. I'm really digging it other than the dance bit.
