CBS put the first episode of the new Twilight Zone on YouTube.

As a big fan of the classic series, I actually like this new episode. Peele captures the uneasy tone of the original, and the cinematography, music, and style is great. It feels very old school. And, of course, there's a good plot twist. I think it's worth a watch.

Just now starting this because it has been eating at me to figure out what this series is about. To be honest I never watched the original series so I'm going in with no knowledge at all. Just finished the first episode, it was definitely predicable

Twilight zone was just a series of one-off, self-contained episodes, i.e. there was no over-arching throughout the series. Different stories, characters, and actors in every episode

All episodes told some type of story that usually had a "twist" at the end and usually had some "moral of the story" about the human condition, society, etc.

If you remember Amazing Stories, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, or the Ray Bradbury series from the late 80s to early 90s, they all were born from The Twilight Zone.
