hasn't gotten much buzz, but a quality show, Ricky Gervais wrote and stars in it, dark comedy/ drama about a man who lost his wife to cancer and is beyond bitter.
Already renewed for season 2, I am about halfway through season 1 and enjoy it. It is very British, which in this case enhances it.
Would recommend, especially if you are a Gervais fan.

I just finished this up last night and I really enjoyed it. Dark, like you said, but Gervais's humor is great and a perfect fit for the show. I'm excited it was picked up for another season.

I think everyone on some level thinks about being able to say "F it", to do and say what they want, and not care about the consequences. And I think we can all relate to being in pain and angry. The beauty of this show is that even at that point, you know he is a good person, just really hurting. Makes him easy to root for.

Not a fan of his humor (stand up), but enjoyed the start of this show. Particularly the bench conversations with the widow.
