How long do you want to ignore this user?

Read a couple of early reviews and they were decent...Will likely watch. Some language in the trailer.

Watched episode 1 tonight.
I always say I like different shows, this one is different, with a really solid season setup at the end of episode 1.
A bit more targeted for women than men, but Will Ferrell and Adam McKay are executive producers.

88 percent on rotten tomatoes.

Watching the second episode now. It's interesting. Honestly, I really enjoy how they show the different forms that grief takes. Her crying on the toilet hit me on a deep level. Had a very similar situation on my dads first deathiversary.

And an Ed Asner sighting in episode 2 as well. Ed Asner makes everything better. Just looked him up, the guy is 89, and he has:

2 projects completed but not yet released

6 projects in post production

6 projects in pre production

And 3 projects announced but not yet started.

Good series. I would agree it is targeted to women. It's a bit like Killing Eve in that aspect.

Christina Applegate is a very underrated actress. Don't get me wrong, she will always be Kelly Bundy to my inner adolescent. However she puts on a whole range of acting here - comedy, snarky sarcasm, grief and anger.

Watched episode one last night. I'll watch the rest, but as soon as it was revealed that Judy was lying about her dead fiance', I immediately figured out that she was the one who hit Jen's husband (unless the end of episode one is just a complete mind eff)

Finished the season yesterday. I thought it was pretty damn good. And to echo a poster from above, I was REALLY impressed with Applegate's chops in this series. Just really damn good. And Cardellini was incredible as always. Both incredibly great actresses working together, it was something to behold (and it doesn't hurt that they are both just gorgeous!).

Finished this today ( I pace myself on most shows).
Overall I liked it, the whole season I wondered how they would end it and leave open a season 2, didn't see the end coming until about 10 minutes left.

The finale left me wanting for some reason, and when I thought about it...
I think the idea of them not showing her shoot him felt unfulfilling. Not that I want to watch people die, but the whole season had been about her boiling anger, and that was the ultimate and final manifestation of it, and of her standing up for herself etc. Felt like the climax of the season was taken away a bit.

Really enjoyed this.

The way it showed grief was pretty spot on.

The wife and I finished it today. We both liked it but didn't necessarily love it. The three leads were great, but you could see some of the plot developments coming from a mile away.

Wife started it while I was working some this weekend. So I watched expecting it would be another chick show I wouldn't get into. Now we are both into it and 7 episodes in.

I like the cliffhanger endings, and all acting done really well.

I think they didn't show the shooting because they will slowly reveal parts of it next season just like they did with the crash

Or maybe not.

Finished it tonight. Liked it. Didn't love it. Entertaining for sure and tbh I really liked the 30 minute episodes. Can't remember the last show I watched that was 30 minutes. Makes it easy to knock one out in my busy schedule.

Will definitely watch season 2

Just finished the season. Each episode left us wanting more. We would say..."One More!" at the end of each one. Applegate is awesome!

Just finished it... the acting was great. Story line was intriguing! I got sick of Judy and her suspenseful "almost" confessions where she then confesses to something else entirely. I mean how many times did they do that! Her personality also gave me a lot of anxiety in general. Other than that it was decent.

Anyone seen season 2 yet? Thought the first season had some great acting and a lot of "unexpected" moments that kept things interesting.

Season 2 is good. The end of episode 6 is one of the biggest surprise/twists I've experienced in long time.
That stated the cop letting Jen go after looking for the body was just too much. That really soured the whole thing for me

Finished second season. Just as good if not better than the first. It's a fun dramady with lots of twists and turns. I had heard about the "shocking" ending but didn't know what to expect.

I just wish that Jen hadn't spoken at the very end and let us know she was alive. I guess we'd know anyway if Applegate signed up for a third season...or maybe not.

Finished it today- wasn't a huge fan of episodes 1-8, was pretty much the same story as season 1, just with different people doing the various things. And all of the raw emotion from Jen (and Appelgate's great work in pulling it off) that was such a great offset to the comedy in the first season was missing this year.
But really enjoyed 9 and 10.
