Read a couple of early reviews and they were decent...Will likely watch. Some language in the trailer.
Wife started it while I was working some this weekend. So I watched expecting it would be another chick show I wouldn't get into. Now we are both into it and 7 episodes in.torrid said:
Good series. I would agree it is targeted to women. It's a bit like Killing Eve in that aspect.
Christina Applegate is a very underrated actress. Don't get me wrong, she will always be Kelly Bundy to my inner adolescent. However she puts on a whole range of acting here - comedy, snarky sarcasm, grief and anger.
I think they didn't show the shooting because they will slowly reveal parts of it next season just like they did with the crashoragator said:
Finished this today ( I pace myself on most shows).
Overall I liked it, the whole season I wondered how they would end it and leave open a season 2, didn't see the end coming until about 10 minutes left.
The finale left me wanting for some reason, and when I thought about it...
I think the idea of them not showing her shoot him felt unfulfilling. Not that I want to watch people die, but the whole season had been about her boiling anger, and that was the ultimate and final manifestation of it, and of her standing up for herself etc. Felt like the climax of the season was taken away a bit.
