Without giving any spoilers....

Any advice for what movies to re-watch prior to Endgame? Obviously Infinity War, but any others you would most recommend?

Just names of movies to re-watch, if any. No spoilers please!

It's a little late to say to watch them all, but seriously I'd suggest Captain America - The First Avenger. The Avengers and Avengers - Age of Ultron.

Infinity War (duh)
Avengers, Thor 2, GotG
There are a few references to Winter Soldier & Iron Man as well.

I watched Ultron on Wednesday. Maybe I will fire up Cap right now.

Avengers 1,Dr Strange, Ant man and wasp, winter soldier, civil war, infinity war probably all help to not feel lost.

Maybe Thor 2 and gotg 1.

Definitely don't think captain marvel, homecoming, black panther, iron mans, 1st ant man matter too much.

I would say all of them, which I did leading up to Endgame, but if you are pressed for time watch the following:

Iron Man, Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War, Captain American: The First Avenger, Ant-Man, Ant-man and the Wasp, Guardians of the Galaxy 1

This is the shortest list I can come up with, while still covering pretty much all the bases. Films are in the order in which to watch them.

1. The Avengers
2. Guardians of the Galaxy
3. Avengers: Age of Ultron
4 .Captain America: Civil War
*Doctor Strange (optional, but encouraged for additional context)
5. Thor: Ragnarok
*Ant-Man and the Wasp (optional, but encouraged for additional context)
6. Avengers: Infinity War

Finally,
Avengers: Endgame

Assuming you've already seen everything, I'd re-watch the first Captain America movie. That's my best advice.

I did on purpose. Yes, it is one of the top MCU films, and a top film outside the MCU; but it does not contribute to the Infinity Stone story line. That is what I think is the main goal of giving someone a list to catch up on before seeing Infinity War and Endgame. Most people that ask for a catch-up list want the smallest amount of films to watch before they see the current one. Personally, I feel that in order to be truly emotionally invested in the films and more importantly the characters, you should go back and watch ALL 23 MCU films prior to seeing Endgame, , "Endgame Spoiler - mild": then you too can weep like a blubbering baby as I did.

.......Now that I think about it, Ragnarok doesn't contribute to the Infinity Stone story line until the last few minutes, so here's my new list, still in viewing order:

1. The Avengers
2. Guardians of the Galaxy
3. Avengers: Age of Ultron
4 .Captain America: Civil War

Fiiiiiine..... I get what you're saying. Just as with the others that aren't numbered, I still don't feel like it's vital viewing, but it does contribute to the context of the final film, except for Infinity Stones.

I'd say the 3 Captain America movies &the 3 Avenger movies. The guys above might consider Winter Soldier optional but I don't. You get enough Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, and Hawkeye background from those. GotG and Ant-Man and the Wasp are bonus points.

Bare bones minimums- skip First Avenger and I guess Winter Soldier.

Thor 2 if only because like everyone you've probably only seen it once or twice and forgot the details. It's not essential but would help add context to a few scenes

Came to this thread thinking Ant-Man and the Wasp would be #2 after the OG Avengers. Seems like many don't agree.

Yeah, not seeing Ant-Man and the Wasp may leave one a bit curious but isn't vital to the main storyline. I think they explain it well in the context of the Endgame to fill in folks who may not have seen it. It might be helpful to view it ahead of time though.
