I went to see it in non-3D (didn't care about that garbage then, now, or ever) with a buddy. When we left, I contrasted what we'd just seen with Star Wars. I told him that with Avatar, I felt like I was watching James Cameron's story from afar (and it just wasn't that interesting), whereas with Star Wars, I felt like I was living in George Lucas' story, I was a part of it, and it was the most fantastic thing I'd ever seen or been a part of.

I loved The Hurt Locker. I thought it was really intense and entertaining with a good amount of depth.

I see it as a character study and not really a war movie, so the realism doesn't bother me at all.

I hated Avatar's story.

But Avatar in 3D IMAX blew the visual effects of the new star wars movies out of the water. That was the most immersive experience I've had in a movie. The Dark Knight IMAX would probably be second but not a close one.

Avatar was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

I wasn't a huge BBT fan, but it was OK comedy if you were kind of a nerd growing up. I haven't seen much though.

I really enjoyed Avatar. It's definitely light years better than the Star Wars prequel trilogy.

Elementary school Anakin is an absolute **** actor, but at least he's just a little kid. Still, he's not much worse than Hayden Christensen, who was so bad that he dragged Natalie Portman down to his level.

Of course, all I really needed to say in defense of my opinion is "Jar Jar Binks." Are you f*ckin kidding me?? That crap makes whomever came up with the character of Dobby the Elf look brilliant.

Natural Born Killers is an excellent movie and only had one weak point: mickey and Mallory being kept at the same prison.

I liked it until the final third of the movie, which I hated. Overall, I think its Nolan's worst movie and probably the only one he's made that I have no desire to ever watch again.

I love the first 8/10 of Interstellar, absolutely loathe the next 1/10, and really like the last 1/10.

That that one 1/10th is brutally bad to knock it out of my top list.

I enjoyed Avatar. The whole thing was very predictable and the storyline is played out, but it held my interest and it was visually very cool.

I think it's much more likely that James Cameron thought that the storyline was a convenient platter for him to use all his special effects ideas than it is that he really wants us to save the planet and used the film as his vehicle for delivering a powerful message.

The movie ending of "The Mist" was very divisive among the book's fans.

I had been waiting for a film version of this story since reading it in the mid-80's and was thrilled to hear that Frank Darabont was making it.

However, the writers changed the ending COMPLETELY. And I hated it. Hated it. The rest of the movie to that point was everything I hoped it would be. The ending ruined everything for me. I've never watched the movie again and never will.

To put a different perspective on it: Stephen King has said that he wished he'd thought of that ending.

The ending is the only thing th as t made the mist bearable
