Westworld for me. I remember reading on here how great it was, and my brother (who I share very similar movie and tv taste with) also loved it. Finally started watching it two weeks ago, and after three or four episodes I finally just gave up. Just couldn't get into it.
A movie I love but shouldn't is Basic with John Travolta and Sam Jackson. It's got a nonsensical plot and a ton of overacting, but it's my ultimate go-to movie when I need to be entertained. I cant explain it.

I might give it another go. I had a hard time pressing the "I believe" button on the basics of the functionality of the park. Maybe some of it makes better sense once you get further along.mazag08 said:A. Solzhenitsyn said:

I recommended Westworld to a lot of people who didn't like it. For me, I love the puzzle aspect of it, the fact that it doesn't scream the answer at you and makes you think and remember every single that's happened. A lot of my friends, despite being big SCI Fi watchers, just don't care to pay that close attention to something. Others would say it was boring. I can see it.

Friends was "good" because the character's ages were in the wheelhouse of that 25-40 age demographic that is so important to advertisers.coolerguy12 said:
Friends has to be the most overrated show of all time.

This will be unpopular, but Forrest Gump.
I saw the preview in the theater and was pumped.
Trying to tie this guy into every pivotal moment in the 20th century was hard to stomach and ruined the movie for me

Let me guess: your favorite Christmas show is the first half of the Grinch?swimmerbabe11 said:Bruce Almighty said:

Ugh Love Actually is so terribly awful. That should be on my list. It's so bad. Each couple is worse than the next.
Ooh someone made me think of A Christmas Story. I'd rather stick my hand in the oven than watch it.

I watched the first two episodes of The Wire yesterday and they did nothing for me. I'm really hoping it just takes a few episodes to get going.

Letterkenny is on the bubble after two episodes - I like it more than the wife does so far. Katy helps.
I liked Star Wars TLJ more than the Internet does.
The Holiday got 48% on RT, but it's one of our go-to feel good movies.
