I think Dax Shepard should re-do it. But he's swimming in money now.

MASH set in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Would today's audience accept humor in that setting? I'm not sure it would fly.

Jokes at the expense of the Bush administration which condemn all republicans with hero Muslims riding out the storm caused by the US invasion masterminded by a bumbling Rumsfeld, evil Cheney, and dim Bush. Hero minority and women soldiers/doctors overcoming racist southern enlisted white men would be the core way they don't simply tear down the past, they point out the SJW issue of the week. And the Corporal Klinger character writes itself.

Tales of the Gold Monkey

obligatory Firefly
Tales of the Gold Monkey should've lasted longer than it did. That was a great show.

Firefly wouldn't work without the original cast and wouldn't work at all without Wash.

I think the Animorphs books would make a great TV series. There are about 60 books; lots of stories and content to convert to the screen.

Nickelodeon tried in the 90s. It was all-around terrible. But with some actually good writing, actors, and effects, it'd make for a great 2-3 season show on Netflix. Perhaps even make it an animated series.

Saved by the Bell: The College Years
You know what would really be awesome? If they can keep the Saved By The Bell nostalgia going for another 25 years or so, if the cast stays alive, and if Dustin Diamond and Lark Voorhies get mentally straight then they can do Saved By The Bell the Nursing Home Years.

Being a kid in the early 1980s with this, Battlestar Galactica, Knight Rider, the A-Team, Airwolf, and Blue Thunder on cannot be topped.
