Y'all act like JJ is as bad as Luke Cage. Season 1 is still one of the best seasons of all the marvel shows. Season 2 was weak but this one might be decent.

I mean, why should we care and why does it matter? We know that the show is cancelled before this season even dropped.

I didn't even finish the second season, and have no desire to see this one personally.

Punisher wasn't very good. Daredevil and the first season of Jessica Jones was the only thing worth a damn.

Punisher wasn't "the Punisher."

When he was in that one season of Daredevil, he was The Punisher. In his own series? Generic action guy.

Too bad because the actor was perfectly cast.

Loved punisher in daredevil and punisher season 1 was mostly good. Jigsaw storyline was pretty bad in season 2.

Started this last night. I'd forgotten how much season 2 had soured me on all these characters. Also, any time there's action, it's pretty clumsily shot. I guess they only have a few action beats a season but it really looks like they're winging it sometimes.

First episode wasn't bad but I'm mostly just watching to see if Luke Cage will show up, or something.

I really hate her best friend being "powered". She's annoying.
I think I'm on the 2nd episode of the 2nd season, and like every other one of these Netflix mid-powered super hero shows, they all just seem to draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag.

The Marvel shows have had 13 seasons between Daredevil (3), Jessica Jones (3), Luke Cage (2), Iron Fist (2), Punisher (2), and Defenders (1). Only four of those seasons have been worth anything (Daredevil 1-3, JJ 1).

Edit: maybe 4 1/2 good seasons. The first half of Luke Cage season 1 was pretty good.

I would say 5 or 6. I thought the first season of Punisher is very good, and the second one was enjoyable.

The only redeeming quality of the Defenders was that it was significant in Daredevil's character arc. Plus his fight scenes were the best out of all the characters.

Basically, if any season has this version of Matt Murdock/Daredevil in it, I'm going to enjoy it.

Bushmaster > Cottonmouth and IMO it's not even close. Cottonmouth was kind of bad at being a gangster, cheesily popped up on a roof with a rocket launcher, did the same laugh 2x per episode, etc.

Bushmaster had some sweet action moments, was relatively likeable / sympathetic, and rocked an amazing accent. We coulda been brethren.

I disagree about Punisher, but that's still not a good hit rate (even if I include your opinion). He was good in Daredevil, though.

The only good has been Daredevil and Killgrave.

This show kinda sucks now. I don't need another season of Hogarth's love life. And Trish's beginner parkour doesn't make her a superhero.

It's not all bad, but honestly I'm only watching because I've watched all the rest, and in hopes that someone like Luke Cage shows up.

Nothing's worse than Iron Fist S1, but 13 56-minute episodes will be quite a drag.

It isn't horrible yet but Trish doing parkour and suddenly making her a hero is kind of funny. I'm pretty sure people do that on YouTube and they aren't equipped to fight crime lol.

I'll check it out but I don't have high hopes. Tricia became one of the most annoying characters on tv in JJS2 so I'm not sure I can handle an entire season with her like this.

Finished this today. Gotta say, the first two episodes kinda suck, but it picks up in quality once the villain is revealed. I wouldn't say it's great, but it's not a continuous eyeroll like the first two episodes and the back half of S2 were. It helps to split time between Jessica and Trish, too. The action is still pretty spare. I'm tired of low-budget choreography.

Overall, not too bad. For those curious, here are the cameos this season: Luke is in the last episode for about 3 minutes.
