I loved this guy in The Shield, Justified, Vice Principals, the Tarantino movies and even the guest spots on Sons of Anarchy.

This preview though (which also has some of my favorite folks from Ballers)...makes me sad that Goggins is wasting his talents on this.

Just saw this was on Netflix the other day and I'm about 7 episodes into it.

Not gonna lie....I'm REALLY enjoying this show. Goggins is great as expected, Rob Corddry has been a fave of mine for years and his character here is just perfect, Michaela Watkins seems to have finally hit her stride with Delia, and the two girls who play Goggins' daughters are just adorable and fantastic actresses.

If you were on the fence, give it a shot.....I can't vouch for anything past 7 episodes at this point yet though so if it takes a turn for the worse further down the line don't come at me.

I'm also a fan. Unique premise and a fun group of characters.

I love this show. The cast is outstanding. Season 2 starts in two weeks!

I watched all of season 1 over the last few days. Very easy, relaxing show. Has some edginess with Wade's widower dating life, but the bigger stretch is watching the adults sit out by a fire pit in Asheville, NC drinking wine and beer every episode. With 7 kids 14 and under between them, one doctor, and 2 business owners..... that's as much fantasy as Game of Thrones.

However, watching this show is as relaxing as having a glass of wine in the spring before dinner.

Goggins was amazing as Boyd Crowder in Justified.

His scenes with Tim Olyphant (Raylon) were must-see TV.

Welp, I think we've reached the point of shark jumping. Season 2, Episode 3. I was hoping they'd avoid it, but they finally made their "woke" episode.

Rob Corddry's character gives one of the black kids a neon blue water gun and the kid is super excited because he's never had one before. The black dad has to have the super melodramatic conversation with Corddry about how his son can't run around with toys like that...you see, the color of the gun doesn't matter, the color of his son does. The test of the episode was more of the same. "White privilege", "White Fragility", and "White guilt" all make appearances in the script.

You're watching CBS sitcoms. They don't jump the shark. That implies quality that slips. CBS doesn't make quality sitcoms. They make Young Sheldon.
