The slowed down, live version of No Surrender off the 75-85 Live box set is amazing. So is Johnny 99.

'If I should fall behind' always gets me, but Thunder Road is probably my favorite.

Blood Brothers is my favorite.
My dark side says the whole Nebraska album.
Also like One Step Up, Born to Run, The River, Thunder Road obviously.

That's literally the only Springsteen song I like.

I would have a hard time coming up with my top 50 Springsteen tunes. It would be tough to come up with my favorite from any specific album.

Was a sophomore in high school near Springsteen's hometown of Freehold, NJ when Born to Run was released in 1975. I was just a couple of years too young to have seen him locally before his popularity exploded, but my sister used to see him down at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park.

Heard every song on that album 14 million times during high school and never tired of it. Moved to CS in '78 and saw him in concert in Austin when I was at A&M, but haven't been a big fan since Darkness on the Edge of Town. I thought The River and Nebraska were simply meh, but gave him a pass thinking he was just going through a phase. Born in the U.S.A. was utter crap and I haven't actively listen to his music sense...

but whenever I hear someone play his early stuff, I'm transported back to summer nights down the shore...

Can't explain it, but Cadillac Ranch has always been my favorite Springsteen song.

Really hard for me to narrow it down. I'm a fan since the late 70's. At first I was going to say Jungleland, but then Racing in the Streets came to mind. Darkness is probably my favorite album, so I'll go with that......for now

It's amazing to me, the power a really great musician has.
My favorite concert if his was Barcelona in '02. Still young enough that they could play but most of their catalogue was there. This was Thunder Road. Imagine deciding, "hey I wanna play some tunes in Spain", and have 10's of thousands show up who know every word, even if it isn't in their language.



And LOHAD

The '02 concert held in Spain is played on axs channel on cable. That would have been a great concert to see live. Crowd is really into the show.
