I will submit most of Randy Travis' hits, I used to think they were corny/cheesy, but I have come around to see some of it is borderline philosophical and who doesn't like corn and cheese together.

It's a surprisingly good pop punk album that was way better quality than the movie itself. The songs were written by Adam Duritz (Counting Crows) and Adam Schlesinger (Fountains of Wayne) and sung by the singer from Letters to Cleo. It was one of the few hold outs that is now finally on Spotify too.

I went to junior high and high school in the 80's, so any song other than "We Built This City" mentioned in this thread don't even come close to my definition of cheesy. Those are classics. Like GOAT classics.
