The Black Keys and Raconteurs just released albums within a week of each other and both are good. Fun listening too, not over thought. Rock is not quite dead!

For new rock that's a bit heavier check out Rival Sons latest album, Feral Roots. And Crobot has a new one coming soon, Both of those bands are excellent.

I like what little Rival Sons I've heard but need to just buy one of their albums and give it a serious listen. What should I start with? I love the song Good Things but never went much deeper, not sure why. Thanks Junkhead!

Feral Roots is outstanding. Great Western Valkyrie is solid from top to bottom too. Honestly, I like everything they've released.
