Really digging the title track. A lot of vibes from the lateralus album. Some lateralus, intension, and maybe schism feel in there.
Sounds like The Main Monkey Business by Rush.

I can't turn on Sirius XM without hearing Tool for the last two weeks. It is glorious.
As I have been rediscovering all of Tool's music (I go through phases where I binge music and what better time to re-binge Tool's entire catalog) I have even been rocking them at the gym. While it is not the most upbeat stuff it is still definitely good music to get the blood moving.

Slightly off topic, but I'm enjoying the latest Opeth track as well (album comes out in september)
New music from two of my favorite bands.. not a bad deal.
Hard to believe, I had to look it up, but while it's been 13 years since new Tool, it's been longer since new System of a Down!
I hope you get a splinter that you can't pull out for a week for bringing this into my life.tk for tu juan said:

I haven't really dove into their catalogue yet to be honest, but I love progressive metal. I tend to like the newer Opeth stuff I've heard a lot more than their older stuff. From what little I've heard
I haven't got mine yet, how are the bonus tracks?Flashdiaz said:

Album is incredible and I wasn't a huge fan of the title track when it hit.
Pneuma and Invincible are my current favorites. That whole back half of Invincible with slight variations on the slow death march rhythm is so damn tasty.
Very similar to the intro of Jambi which is one of my favorites of theirsTobias Funke said:spag.ag2003 said:

Also my favorite 2. 8:30+ in invincible is as crunchy and awesome as Tool gets
