Once those first images and the release date all dropped I figured a trailer was coming in the next few days but then we got nothing. TV trailers are harder to predict than movie trailers, because TV trailers aren't tied to any specific release, so it's anyone's guess, and I just did a quick search to see if there was any info out there (there's nothing), but surely it's coming any day now.

Are they going to do a crossover with the last season of Stranger Things and have all the kids attending their 10-year high school reunion?

I get why Euphoria is returning, ratings-wise, but the season two finale was basically a series finale, if I've ever seen one. It just seems so pointless. That said, rumor is there's like a five-year time jump, which helps, but also almost makes it a completely new show.

As for Stranger Things, yeah, we're reaching 90210 levels of ridiculousness there.

Good Lord.

Goosebumps.

Really looking forward to seeing Austin butler in this role - looks like a complete star in this preview. And I just love WWII and period pieces in general. War or mob are my favorite genres.

But the thing that really gets me is just getting a chance once again to watch the greatest generation stand up to the face of evil and the high likelihood of death and step right into that. Knowing.

It always reminds me of the Tyson quote "everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth". Or Rocky saying "You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward." Only this wasn't taking a punch in a ring - these kids were getting blown apart quite literally, or the men right next to them - and they kept moving forward.

This country was a better place then - while acknowledging that it was not the best place it could be and certainly not for everyone - but I wonder what would happen if we were literally attacked. And that scares the **** out of me. We were pretty united after 9/11 but even that was only brief. And this Hamas/Israel stuff is very illuminating.

Anyway...this is not the politics board. Just saying I look at this stuff in awe now. And wonder if we have it in us any more?
