Love Death and Robots is an under rated anthology series. 5-15 minute episodes. So good. NSFW.

If you can get over the fact that you have to rely on subtitles. South Korean drama based on historical facts.

I might be biased since I really enjoy historically based fiction. Just like learning about how people lived back then... Recognizing that some of it is 'Hollywoodized.'

I will watch anything Civil War too. Wild west. Etc.

Might be too much nudity for an 11 year old, though. I don't know Tanya's take on nudity.

True. I was thinking with an adult set of eyes.

Geez, like 2 mentions of Narcos? It was so good I watched both seasons twice.

I should add, I'm also watching The Last Czars right now, which is good, but once you've seen a show like Narcos that is like 90% subtitles..the Columbians/Mexicans actually speak their language, it's seems strange,distracting, to watch a show where Russians from the 1900's speak English. Had the same issue with Chernobyl. I don't know if I'll ever watch TV the same way after Narcos.

Pretty much what everyone on here as said. Loved Ozark, Peaky Blinders, Bloodline (first season). Still need to watch Stranger Things.

Also love all the documentaries, although a lot aren't Netflix originals. The Planet Earth shows are awesome.

And Arrested Development is still my favorite comedy on TV.

I'm both surprised and not surprised that Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt hasn't been mentioned yet. Season 1 was a triumph of absurd comedy. Season 2 started out well, then began the show's decline into meh.

So, watch Season 1.

Agreed with all the Stranger Things recs as well as Daredevil and s1 of Bloodline. And didn't see anyone mention Jessica Jones, season 1 was fantastic (the rest are just ok).
