Anybody else watching this show? Kind of like Ninja Warrior meets Fast & Furious. Doesn't hurt that one of the competitors is an Aggie, Brittney Williams. Ring clearly visible multiple times.

Watched a couple of episodes last night. Really fun show to watch!

Pretty intense finale to the season. I found myself yelling STOP at the drivers every time they were on the Leveler; they were way too abrupt in their back/forward movement. If they do another season, the "walk on water" needs to be eliminated. These are drifting cars not Jeeps, having the drivers chance of winning ruined from getting water into the engine is lame.

This isn't about Star Wars

AT least have the rail slide as an option to avoid the walk on water.

One thing is for sure we wont see the water cannon again.

The producers and lawyers definitely puckered up when she possibly had glass pieces in her eye.

They also need to avoid having a barrier/obstruction just beyond the finish. A brake failure would have been disastrous.

The SCCA guy bragging about his career wins, then hitting almost all the penalty pylons while backing up was hilarious

I thought they did a good job of keeping the show moving. A lot of these reality shows seem like 80% background fluff on the contestants and only 20% action. Hyperdrive seemed to be mostly the racing, hopefully they keep that up in any future seasons.

Even though they started with more than drift cars, it seemed pretty obvious early on that drifters were better suited to the obstacles.

I'd tend to agree with you except that the two best drivers were driving not your typical drift cars. Both of them mustangs. They were both just superior drivers.
