I am seeing her Friday at Roots m Blues n BBQ.

What songs should I listen to so I know her style and sound?
Ben Harper, Lukas Nelson, Jason Isbell, and The Mavericks I know.

The ones she had on the radio were My Church, 80s Mercedes, and Rich. She is also part of the new girl group, The Highwomen, but if it's a solo show, she may not sing any of those new ones

She has a wide range, from very poppy, to bluesy to country.

"The middle" which was that huge song from last year. Wasn't technically her song although she was the feature vocalist and I'll bet she doesn't perform it but considering it won best song last year, worth a listen.

"Why don't you just meet me in the middle
I'm losing, my mind, just a little.
So why don't you just meet me in the middle."

She's a very good vocalist. Cool voice.

if you don't pop country/pop. I know her roots are country, but she's not really country.

I loved Maren Morris's first album. With the success of "The Middle" and some of her other pop collaborations I was worried she was going to go full on pop. I'm glad she's part of the Highwomen, I feel like that will keep her a little more grounded in her country music roots. She has a voice that will make her successful in any genre she chooses, so I hope she sticks around country longer.

Also, she and all the other women that Miranda Lambert brought in on the Fooled Around and Fell in Love cover did a phenomenal job.

The Middle is a Zedd song. Since he is Russian German and barely speaks English he always uses guest singers.
