Is there really not a thread on here about this? The new netflix series, prequel to the movie, has been fantastic. The blend of puppetry and CGI, great actors voicing the characters. Great show, almost done with it (on ep. 7 of 10).

I swear there was one. Quick question for those who have seen it. Does the snot ever stop pouring off the nose of the of the one Skeksis character? I can take pretty much anything gross. But I don't understand why there is a river of snot on this one characters face all the time. I don't remember that in the movie.

I'm 3 episodes in and I've been enjoying it so far. I remember trying to rewatch the original in the last couple of years and it didn't hold up, but this is good.

Haha it's not as prominent as it is in that one episode in the carriage. So ya you don't really have to worry about it after that.

The series is amazing. Absolutely nailed it.

In fact, I've had the hankering to go back and watch it again.

Finished it last night, was very sad to see it end, incredible season!

It is so beautiful. What incredible artistry.

This was such a pleasant surprise. I thoroughly enjoyed this show and I'd never even seen the original as a kid (or don't remember it). I did watch it before starting the series though and thought it was pretty cool.


Also, how good was Simon Pegg?? If you haven't seen the original in a while, he absolutely nails The Chamberlain.

Watching right now. Shocked this isn't TV-14. Pretty dark.
