While I am interested in the Northern European pagan traditions, I felt this one fell flat. I preferred the original Wickerman by a bunch.

That was the message I got. Quite a few wtf moments but not as shocking of a climax as Hereditary IMO.

Man the cliff scene was crazy but honestly that opening scene is insane. Ari Aster is definitely a guarnteed mind **** at this point. Really have enjoyed both this and Hereditary.

I just watched it. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but after the beginning of the film, I wasn't too surprised by any of it. I watch a lot of weird movies, so maybe I'm just destigmatized.
