Granted, it is 17 years old but has anyone seen it? Stars Selma Hayek.

Had some female clients recently insist that I watch it and I did. Interesting and disturbing all wrapped into one.

The backstory is they asked me if I had ever seen it or heard of Frida Kahlo. I had never heard of her at all.

Apparently she is one of the early leading feminists who also was a communist sympathizer in Mexico.

I saw the movie in the theater when it first came out.

In my early 40's. Never heard of her. Never heard of this movie before several days ago.

I didn't take an art history class in school. Maybe that's why.
