First name that came to mind. Although I did like him in Parenthood.

I had a cousin trying to make it as an actor at one point. He ended up in a short film and after watching about 5 minutes of it I thought he was terrible and gave him zero chance of ever making it. I mentioned that to my uncle who laughed and asked "ever seen Keanu Reeves act?".

I immediately recanted and said "well....I guess you're right, he does have a chance".


He was good in Parenthood which was pretty much the same character in Bill and Teds. Other than that I've never understood how he gets casted.

He was great in "Always be my maybe"

Keanu certainly isn't a good actor, but what he has is charisma. I believe that is far more important in Hollywood than actual acting ability.

No Woody Harrelson? He only plays himself its exactly the same character no matter what and it's pretty obvious He is a bad human being to boot.

I just like the cheap blue stars. I havent' watched us play once since we blew that lead to UCLA.

I love Bruce Willis, but he's way up on my list. I'm convinced that in Armageddon he had zero idea who he was playing until the camera started rolling.

There's only 3 "leading actors" in Hallmark movies: Winnie Cooper, Candice Cameron and some former country music star. And yes, they are all awful.

Exactly.

Keanu, for example, isn't a great actor, but he's perfect in certain roles and is a fantastic physical performer, John Wick as a great example. Some roles don't require great actors, they require the right actor.

And for all the flak Kristen Stewart gets (I've never liked her either) she was actually surprisingly good in Charlie's Angels.

Joe Pesci is literally the same character in every movie he's done. I even tried watching Raging Bull (which was excruciating). Home Alone Joe Pesci is just a PG Raging Bull Joe Pesci.

Point Break IS indeed awesome and one of my favorite movies of all time. But I believe that part of its awesomeness is how bad Keanu's acting is. Would PB be as great without the wooden "I am an FBI agent", or the over-acted argument with Pappas, or the coincidental plot that allowed him to "pretend" to be Ted? No. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
