I liked season 2 better than season 1. Your mileage may vary.

season 2 was terrible. no real story, wasted new characters. the writers just completely said eff it and make ryan a character from fast and furious

Have you watched any Fast and Furious films? He certainly doesn't seem like that. He's not nearly as thoughtful or intellectual as the first season and the romantic interest was surely lacking in season 2 as compared to season 1, but it wasn't a bad season overall. The storyline was great, the character development within that storyline was lacking in comparison, but that's somewhat to be expected, because 3 of the main characters you're already familiar with.

Season 1 was better than Season 2, but not so dramatically that Season 2 was bad. They did not earn the German chicks concern for Ryan, but season 1 had more unbelievable storylines by comparison (bio-terrorism with hemorrhagic fever attacking the president). Ryan was also more of a contrarian this season, which may work for some people but given my assumptions of the CIA it came off as less realistic.

I thought it was entertaining, but season 1 was better. I thought the central mystery behind what was going on was kind of lame, and the attack on the presidential palace was too video game for me.

I enjoyed the first season. We watched season two all the way through, and though it could have been better, it was worth watching.
This is how I felt.

It was worth the watch, and I'll watch the next season...but the story wasn't near as good as Season 1.

I think the difference, was that there wasn't much to discover this season. We knew the story from the beginning, and were just watching Ryan try to prove it.

And the ending was a little eye rolling. Could you imagine the international storm we'd face if our guys actually did what they did in the Presidential palace?

yeah that was pretty bad, told my wife the same thing while watching, "no way an op like this would ever happen."

I did like that Marcus was able to live up to his father's legacy
