Really fun movie. I'm glad that excellent cast wasn't wasted.

BTW, my girlfriend is an RN, and she had a critique about a certain plot point mentioned above, as well, but it didn't take away her enjoyment of the movie.

Saw it last night, it was terrific. An original movie that isn't based on a 10th adaptation of a comic book is always welcome. Donut speech/Daniel Craig is pretty funny. Enjoyed the humor

Hate to be that guy, but no one on the thread cares if you "got it"

If you want to see a different side of Ana de Armas, see the movie 'Knock Knock'

I don't care how hot she is and how much she lezzes out... I can't bear to watch sweet prince Keanu be tortured by two devil women

What-a-ya-know... a Rian Johnson movie I didn't hate.

Looking forward to a Benoit sequel

Wife and I saw this today, since the in laws are in town to take care of the baby.

We both really enjoyed it. I must say, I was expecting one more twist at the end, like Jamie Lee Curtis was the ultimate culprit.

I've seen two Rian Johnson movies and liked both.

Saw this opening weekend and forgot to chime in, but agreed with the consensus that it's a really fun watch.

If you're realizing you might like Rian Johnson non-Star Wars movies, watch Brick when you get a chance.

Agree with everybody. Fantastic movie. DK is compelling and charismatic as the investigator in an all star cast.

Thought Rian Johnson was terrific and this movie definitely made me revisit my Star Wars conclusion of him.

Glad to see these reviews. I had seen the trailer and it looked like an entertaining movie. Then a friend told me Rian Johnson had done it, so ironically it was a red-flag moment. Better that I had not known. Now though, I will go back to my original intent and see it --- clearly he just wasn't for SW and can be effective in another genre given the review here.

One question --is this somewhat based on a scenario like the `Clue' movie -- (itself based on the game)? Those whodunnits are always entertaining in general.

Well sorta.

You have several family members related to the victim. And each one has a perspective on what happened. And the story jumps to different character's perspectives of the events so that overtime you begin filling in the blanks yourself. But they're all lying, so each testimony clarifies another.

You'll like it. It's not a studio movie at all. Very well made.

You obviously never saw Looper, amazing scifi film

Rian Johnson directed the best television episode of all time and some people here can't fathom he's possible of making a good movie because he took their childhood hero's character arc down a path they didn't like. Pretty funny.

Great movie. Enjoyed the hell out of it.

RJ also did Looper, right? I guess he's good with everything but Star Wars.

That aside I did enjoy this movie. I'm a sucker for the Poirot films with Suchet and this felt like a bit of a callback, except with a few well done twists to keep it from being a stale imitation.

All three of his BB episodes were standouts:;

Fly: just the entire episode of Walt trying to kill a fly in the lab. Such a great character study.

Fifty-One: Walts party and Skylars freakout was another deep character dive, plus Lydia and Mike warehouse drama with Hank and then Jesses and a tracking device.

Ozymandias: just craziness in aftermath of the shootout, Hank dies, the barrels of money, Walt in the dessert, Jacks team of thugs and Todd capture and torture Jessie, Walt reveals he watched Jane die, Walt goes into hiding.

Good movie, that KFC accent was distracting though.

Lead was stunningly beautiful.

Go check it out at the theatre before it's run is over.

Finally saw it. My wife and I thought it was just alright. A lot of good/clever bits.

I felt like the great cast was mostly wasted, and that a lot of wind came out of the sails when we saw what actually happened so early on.

As a crossover pic he could team up with the bumbling Johnny English for an international case.

I thought the Manifest Destiny episode of Terriers was good, but I'd hardly call it the best television episode of all time.

It's crazy.....this movie is still going strong since it's release in November with four showings a day here at the Cinemark in B/CS and it will be coming out on Blu Ray in three weeks.

That is unheard of these days. No movie has legs that strong anymore.

Bought this on digital and watched tonight, still a whole lot of fun on a second viewing and it's got two commentary tracks from Johnson. I missed that he apparently released a downloadable "in theater" commentary while the film was still in theaters, so that's on here along with another commentary track.

It'll be out for rent in a few weeks if you missed it in theaters, very much worth the watch.
