I've only seen one of those movies -- Lone Star, which is excellent.
I actually think Cliffhanger is a pretty solid action movie using the Die Hard template. Not sure if that counts in this thread since it was a summer blockbuster, but I think it's underrated.
Does "About Time" fit?
I rarely find anyone who's seen it and it's such a good movie. Shoestring budget of something like $10m. Bill Nighy is exceptional.

It's not. I have the flu, and wanted some movie ideas and didn't see the other thread. I blame the cough syrup.

If there's already an active thread on a forum, I wouldn't recommend starting a similar one. A quick scan of page 1 is typically the best method to ensure this bit of good form, which is true for a wide variety of forums.

I'll put in other plug for "Dill Scallion", released over 20 years ago. I think it qualifies as being underground, and it's very rewatchable for me. It's basically the country music "Spinal Tap". Still never see or hear of it talked about anywhere, and it had a stellar cast
