Who decided to put back on the beach bum clothes instead of the suit he was wearing when he got shot.

Since we aren't told, it's not hard to imagine a good reason why he did.

By paying him up front, it takes away any chance that he might decide to go ahead and win the fight and just not get paid. Marsellus is taking away that option for Butch. It is either lose and keep the money or win and die.

Or maybe he has dealt with him so much in the past that he trusts him.
