My question is, is he the messiah or the antichrist. The antichrist won't be Damien like. It is really high quality TV I think.
Or a terrorist.

Sounds normal.AggieKatie2 said:Brian Earl Spilner said:
So what is the biggest question? (Unless it's a spoiler.)
I think it's either, "Does it even matter if he is/isn't if the message is correct" and "Just how strong is your faith".
So many initial believers are quick to turn on him when things don't go the way they expect.

This shows Texas geography is lol stupid
As in, it makes a GOP'er out as something other than the next Hitler and will trigger the left? Or it makes the GOP'er out as the villain and will annoy the right? Genuinely curious.Duncan Idaho said:
I just wanted to warn them....it isnt Trump PBUH but it could be enough to trigger some of the snowflakes

I am guessing they make the GOP'er a villain because that has been the standard formula in Hollywood for decades. I am sure there have been a few exceptions.

Finished this season and I really enjoyed it. A lot. In fact I'm going to rewatch the finale again to see if I picked up on everything.
I have a friend who was a professional social engineer for the NSA and a lot of the things he talks about are being practiced. Very interesting stuff.

So the prevailing theory I'm seeing online is that Al-Masih is the Antichrist, and Jibril is the real Messiah. Thoughts?
I can definitely see where they purposely make you see that if you're looking for it.
Islamic antichrist? In Shi'ia or Sunni conception? Or do they both recognize him, as they do Gabriel.canadiaggie said:Brian Earl Spilner said:

Jibril being the Arabic version of the Archangel Gabriel and the fact that Al-Masih ad-dajjal is usually what the Islamic antichrist is called (as opposed to Jesus and the unnamed Mahdi, the two eschatological savior figures) seems to hint that this is the likely endgame just drawing inferences from the name clues

Two episodes in and so far for me it's like half Homeland, half The Leftovers. Looking forward to knocking out the rest of it this weekend.

Nowhere really to go with season 2, other than more of the same.

I thought it was ok. I agree the premise is cool w/the questions answered/unanswered. I felt the pacing was too slow. If they cut the clips of people slowly walking or staring into the distance it could cut the show be a few episodes.
