I know it has been discussed before but I love A List.

I got addicted to MoviePass and was accustomed to a weekly movie.

A List has been great. It is more expensive ($20/month) but there are a massive number of AMCs where I live (Houston) and I can see nearly every noteworthy movie in IMAX, Dolby or Prime. Plus I love the concession discounts. Plus the ability to reserve seats is obviously a plus. I basically just decide the night of if I am feeling a movie, look up what's playing at the local theaters, reserve a seat, show up during the previews and cut the concession line.

Doubt I'll ever give it up. Has allowed me to see 100+ movies in the past 2 years. Just wanted to give a glowing endorsement if anyone was considering or on the fence.

I've been thinking about it, it seems pretty good and I definitely miss the Movie Pass model.

Only reason I haven't is because of loyalty to Drafthouse, although admittedly it seems like their food is steadily getting worse, and their rewards program sucks. They were supposed to roll out their own program like this but I still haven't heard anything.

Also the AMCs around me have improved their food and alcohol selection and have installed leather reclining seats.

I wouldn't say there is a massive number of AMCs here. I'm in Houston and can't think of a single AMC other than the ghetto one on Dunvale. Mostly go to the Marqee or IPic since I can get to them in 5-10 min.

Fair enough. More Houston suburbs. There is a downtown (the old Sundance), Dunvale, one in the Woodlands, Spring, Humble, Cypress, Willowbrook, and 2 in Sugar Land.

Drafthouse's version is still in a beta phase. You can join the waitlist within the app. I was lucky enough to make it off the waitlist this past summer and love it.

Yeah I joined the waitlist as soon as it was announced. I've been a victory member forever and see tons of movies, so I always thought I might get preferential treatment, but I haven't seen anything about it.

So you actually got access to the program?? How does it work? Are you in New York? I thought the only market testing it was up there.

I go to the one in Stafford. Completely different environment than Dunvale. Remodeled it a few years ago with recliner seats, stadium style. And no unaccompanied minors after 9PM.

I'm in Austin. I know they're testing several variations from what I've heard. I currently pay $20 a month and can see one movie a day. So if you see 2 movies a month it is more than worth it.
