Howdy,

Random topic I've been pondering. I was thinking about Henry Cavill, and how his Reddit stock is surely skyrocketing. Not only is he Superman, and not only is he now Geralt of Rivia, but he's a massive fan of the Witcher video games. He also answered "Xbox or Playstation?" with "PC," which surely made some nerds happy.

Then I thought about Karl Urban as I was watching the Boys. He's in that, and Lord of the Rings, and Star Trek, and Thor? And Bourne? And he's Judge Dredd? That's a guy who has definitely embraced some of the nerdier projects out there. I imagine he'd be a popular one at Comic Cons and things like that.

What are some other actors out there with similar career choices? I'm thinking about actors who have had multiple roles in some of the nerdier franchises out there, whether they're well-known outside of that or not.

A lot of the big ones have been mentioned, but I'll throw a couple of more out. Maybe not the biggest nerd cred guys, but ones certainly worth mentioning.

Stephen Colbert for his LotR fandom and DnD sessions
Going by the Reddit metric, Peter Mahew would post frequently on Star Wars related things
Terry Crews is another reddit favorite, part of which because besides his acting and personality he took the time to learn how to build a computer and play games to better bond with his son

Thought of another one - Josh Brolin. MCU, X-Men and DC (Jonah Hex). Men in Black.
