This is beyond pathetic....they use like every single cliche just in the trailer.

The original one is set in L.A.

-has outlandish plots
-full of plot holes
-very formulaic
-okay acting
And I freaking love it. I eagerly await the Texas spinoff

Homeless people attacking business owners, SJW protesters destroying property, and football coaches getting stuck in precarious situations...or not accurate.bonfarr said:JCA1 said:

I am not sure but after watching the trailer it looks like Lowe is supposed to be a NY fire captain that was recruited to fix problems for the Austin TX FD.

that may be the wrong term. The flow of the dialogue doesn't feel very natural at times.double aught said:What does overly scripted mean?nai06 said:

I mean thats pretty standard. Most stuff is filmed in California, New York, or Georgia. Even Dumplin' which was originally set in west Texas in the book, was filmed in the greater Atlanta area.Macarthur said:nai06 said:

The problem is that is filmed almost exclusively in LA with only some token Austin shots. I MIGHT be onboard if it were shot in Texas and the Texas landscape was an actual part of the show.

Yep. Pretty much how Hollywood views Texas. Like making NY or Jersey seem like everyone is a member of the Sopranos.

It should be. Maybe it was done intentionally because they didn't get the blessing of FDNY or some such.israeliag said:
At time-stop 0:24, Rob Lowe's uniform says NYFD... shouldnt it be FDNY, or is this taking placing in the Spideyverse?
