With all the Oscar nomination discussion there's lots of "award" films that come up that a lot of folks probably aren't going to see, or that they wouldn't watch because it just doesn't sound like their cup of tea.
So what's the one recent film you've seen (released in the last year or so) that most folks probably haven't watched and are really missing out on? Doesn't have to be an Oscar type film, just something that either is a bit outside the usual or just flew under the radar.
For me, it's Parasite. It's a film I probably wouldn't normally have gone out of my way to see if it wasn't for the fantastic reviews and great word of mouth from everyone I knew that had seen it. It's just this incredible story that goes in directions you'll never seen coming. For the best effect go in knowing as little as possible (but know there is a bit of brutal violence in there if that bothers you).
