There's a guy who claims to be a hip hop dude who reacts to "metal" vids, except 75% of the crap he chooses to react to is Evanescence and whiney screamo. Dude is annoying.

What I appreciate about Lost in Vegas is how they seem to be the most genuine, and they were one of the first channels I remember starting to do it. They have said they dont like stuff, they seem to always look into lyrics and such.

I think they are genuine. There have been a few songs they've admitted to hearing after it started; I know Proud mary for sure and I think maybe interstate love song. They admitted they had no idea Proud Mary wasn't a tina turner song. Then proceeded to listen to 10 seconds of other CCR songs, and sure enough they pretty much had heard every one.

Their channel is great. They aren't afraid to say the dislike something, it just doesn't happen very often because the normally get great suggestions. And they dig into the song a lot more that most others out there. They've even changed to the 2 video format, where they listen to the song and react, and then have a completely separate video just for the discussion. It's a hell of a lot better that the other guys out there that just listen to the song, and then at the end just say, "oh man, that was great.."

The last one i saw that they didn't like was B.Y.O.B. by System of a Down, which is completely understandable lol.

As an aside to this thread, "Slave to the Grind" was one of the best albums of the early 90s. Very underrated. Still one of my favorites.

I friggin' love Rebecca. I can watch her for hours.

And I love the Vegas guys watching the new Tool songs.

I bet some of the voice coaches have heard these rock songs but kind of dismissed them as noise rather than listening to them seriously for the technical virtuosity that some of the lunatics in rock do possess.

This reminds me of something I've always wondered... what would Mozart or Bach (picked those two intentionally) think of Skid Row, Opeth, or Queen.
