I will be attending the advance screening today at 3 P.M. and most of the local theaters around my area are all sold out of their screenings. 84% Tomatometer on Rotten Tomatoes right now.

Just got back home from the theater. I enjoyed the movie but thought the storyline could have had a longer adventure.

Also, Disney commissioned a Simpsons short movie to show before Onward. Disney is now embracing their new Fox properties outside of Disney+.

Artemis Fowl, Jungle Cruise, and Soul trailers were attached as previews at my showing.

It was like a Disney-made Simpsons episode. I was impressed.

That was one sad movie. Really enjoyed the setting of this one and the voice acting was solid, but something was off the kept it from being great. My wife and 3 year old loved it. Has Pixar ever made a bad movie?

Just saw this with my kids in IMAX. Great movie.

We were 3 of the only 9 people I counted in the theater for a 1:30 showing. I'm guessing people are going to stay away from movie theaters for a while.

We went Thursday night and there weren't a lot of people in the theater.

Our family enjoyed it. Certainly not top tier Pixar, but it was a good ride and certainly hit some emotional highs and lows.

Looking like around a $40 million domestic opening, lower than their better films but not completely terrible. I'll be seeing it tomorrow, looking forward to it.

Saw it Friday night and we loved it. The theatre was full except for a few seats in the front row.

Went yesterday afternoon and really loved it, definitely hits you right in the feels and it's hilarious if you've ever played any D&D. And I have a feeling I may like this one more on subsequent viewings.

And our theater at Alamo was pretty full for an afternoon showing.

Saw it with the family and we all loved it. I'd definitely put this in my top five Pixar films, maybe top 3. It was really fun, emotional as well, hit me just right.

We saw this today and really liked it. It was really funny and cool, but I was openly weeping at the end and not ashamed to admit it.

I feel like there is a ton of stuff hidden in the background of this movie. I saw a restaurant in the background advertising that they now offer second breakfast.

I loved the setting. Very original to take the typical fantasy tropes and put it in modern times, but bored of magic.

I liked it and my kids really liked it.

Pixar does it again. Great film

Just caught this one today. Really, really good.

Sidenote: probably the only Disney film I can think of where the father figure is missing. Normally, Disney goes with the missing mother formula.

There are wicked step mothers with no fathers present, like in Cinderella, and then you have The Lion King where the dad dies, or Toy Story where Andy's dad isn't around.

Granted it is mostly mom's gone or not seen.

I think it would have been a better story if it had been a DnD quest left by a real world dad for the kids and they went into the fantasy by playing it.

Pixar B material....but a Pixar B material film is still damn good and above standards for mostly all other production studios.

Was not expecting the ending that I got and definitely hit me in the emotional feels....I'm an only son and can't relate to what emotions might be like with that plot but I have 3 sons and so it still hit me good.

There were just certain moments in the film that were a little distracting that I didn't care for....there was one part where I started laughing my ass off thinking they were going for a dark comedic moment, then nope, did not follow all the way through with it and I thought, "ah **** that could have been great!"

Still loved it overall and glad I watched it.

Not top Pixar but still hit me in the feels. My younger brother and I are about the same age gap. And being a father made it hit home as well.

Hope people give it a watch this month.

Really enjoyed this one. I would rank it above Brave, all the Cars, Finding Dory, and maybe a few others. Probably on par with Coco for me.

I welled up once and then cried at the end. I mean, this one hits right in the feels. (My brother and I are just about the same age gap as well, me being the younger brother.)
