Anyone else watching this show? I've been impressed, so far. It's essentially a mix between Narcos and The Godfather that focuses on the three main groups of trafficking cocaine, the buyers, sellers and brokers.

It's got Dane DeHaan, who I think is awful, but he's been pretty good thus far. The Mexican and Italian actors are solid.

Good show to binge before Westworld starts next week.

That said, I watched the first two episodes over the weekend and while the quality is top-notch, I just didn't care enough about the characters or story to keep going. Again, it's VERY well done, and if anything, I'd compare it to Sicario in tone, just with a more expanded world. It's on that level, but IMO, lacks a truly compelling central figure. Even so, I'd say it's still worth checking out, as I know a lot people here would really be into it. Just wasn't my thing, ultimately.

I really enjoy it so far. Much better than The Hunters and is more in line with Sicarios than Narcos as mentioned above. Very well done. I'm a big fan of Dane DeHaan so that's a plus. I recommend this show.

Why do you think DeHaan is awful? I'm a big fan. Just curious what other people think. I think he is going to be a big star for years to come.

It's probably not fair, but my first impression of him was based on Valerian. Maybe that was more of an indictment of the director, but i dont think it was his best performance.

I will say that as I've watched this show, he has grown on me.

Haven't seen that. Check out his role as billy the kid, pretty damn good.

Finished this show last night. I liked it. The comparison to Sicario is totally correct. I'm a big fan of those movies. Can't wait to see how this continues because the story is definitely set up for another season.

I absolutely loved this show. Maybe I'm in the minority but I thought it was one of the best shows I've watched in a few years. It was a political, dynamic story telling, beautiful cinematography, great acting and character development. This along with Bosch are the best shows amazon has done. I'd love other people's opinion.

Loved all the exotic locations. They put some money into this one. Or it looked like they did anyway.

Finished this 2 days - what a great show, thanks for the rec!

I almost tapped out on this one during episode 2, but I'm glad I stuck with it. It helped that when I watched it, I had not heard anything about it and just binged watched it on a whim. The guy that played the "dirty cop" (Harold Torres) deserves and Emmy and Andrea Riseborough is a shoo-in should they ever cast The Megan Rapinoe Story.

Finally got around to watching this. Such a great show...and creative how they told the stories the last 6 episodes.

Watched the series in 2 days. Slow start, slow burn, but so damn good and worth every minute.

Just finished and loved it. I like the three interconnected plotlines, especially the Don Minu / Don Stefano stuff.
