Lotsa discussion on which shows are out there that can eat up some time and keep people entertained for a while.
I'm about to complete another rewatch of NYPD Blue (Amazon Prime) and all I can say is this show STILL holds up exceptionally well, and can go toe to toe with any of the best dramas out there. For me personally, Breaking Bad will probably always be tops but Blue is without a doubt in my top 5 all time. And another great thing is that its on the old Fall/Spring format with 12 seasons so there are lots of episodes to watch and it'll take you a while to run through it.
Like many great shows it definitely does see a decline in quality as it ends its run but that basically just means it went from excellent to pretty good at the end.
The Jimmy Smits seasons are particularly the best imho.
