Titans vs Hoosiers isn't much easier.

I always play on your tournaments and was fully in after the one where Schindlers List had to defeat Something About Mary and Dumb and Dumber in the 1st 2 rounds of one of them. The matchups are always a super fun hot mess.

Then you get to the voting... how the hell is Spacejam in the Sweet 16? And Coach Carter defeated Slapshot? Maybe Texags is the one who is a hot mess.

Why isn't Rocky in there? I love Rocky IV, but Rocky should be in there too.

Ditto on Rocky III. Prediction? PAIN

Also... Green Street Hooligans is straight up not a sports movie.

A League of Their Own BETTER win that bracket now or I'm going to question Texags WAY more than I already do.

Well yeah... that's not even getting into that League of Their Own is a 14-seed against... 42? 42 was not good.

1. I blame most of the, in my opinion, crappy voting on a lot of my FB friends. I'm a high school teacher so a good deal of my FB friends are former students in their early 20's with questionable taste haha

2. When I generate my list of movies I tend to check multiple existing lists to make sure I'm not leaving anything out, and several of them had GSH and Rounders classified as sports movies, which I agree with. Plus they're both just good movies.

3. I understand issues with my seeding, that's always my least favorite part of this process, but I do it partially keeping my (mostly) FB audience in mind, not necessarily how strong I consider these movies to be. Always hard to gauge.

4. Thanks for voring, y'all are my only hope. Right now Hoosiers is losing to Titans and it is killing me.

Oh yeah, and I didn't want to have to include all of the Rocky flicks so I ran a play-in game poll on my FB to figure out which one to include. Rocky IV won in a landslide, unsurprisingly.

I just watched Green Street Hooligans like a week ago... I don't see how anybody can call it a sports movie. Yeah it is about soccer hooligans, but it is like the furthest thing from a soccer movie. If anything, it is a gangster movie.
