Mirror Mirror has been released as a future Dresden title for over 5 years, now. He's even given a brief on the main plot of that book without any spoilers.

Thats what I've seen as well. I suppose they will be editing and marketing the book.

Selfishly if the book is close to being done now I think they could publish it this summer. But I'm not in that industry. Just a fan.

Saw some posts in the Books Read thread, but figured I'd resurrect this one.

I had not idea Twelve Months was being released. Just ordered on Amazon.

Battleground literally ruined reading books for me, for a couple of years, lol. I haven't gone back through the series since reading it and have only read Peace Talks and Battleground one time.

Anyone else pick Twelve Months up yet?

Yes. Read it. I enjoyed it. It won't be at the top of your Dresden book list but it's good. I would say it's more of a transitional novel. Sounds like we have big things coming though!

Read "The Law" novella before you read Twelve Months. Takes place 1 month after last book and before Twelve Months.

Looks like "Out Law" takes place after Twelve Months. So, that's effectively 2 new books released that you get to read.

I listened to it, and liked it a lot. Like youbet said, it's not the biggest thing in the story game, but it moved the plot forward.

I'm looking for Out Law now.

It frankly makes sense that it's a transitional novel anyway. He just ended a 17-book story arc he had been building for 20 years(?). He's clearly now building up to a new one.

Also, he apparently had some real-life trauma happen since Battleground, so this book is a pretty emotional one and I'm thinking it was a very personal one for him with a lot of Dresden's pain being his own.
