This thread makes me so happy! You guys are the absolute best! Seriously... it's been so sh*tty sitting at home watching the business I built from nothing just crumble. Rather than drink myself into oblivion (or smoke weed, since that's legal here), I'll escape into some more books!

"Watership Down" if you like animal(rabbits) fantasy. Great old book and one of my favorites.
I couldn't put it down-great read and action!
You'll thank me later.

Malazan is literally one of the best book series I've ever read.

Also need to recommend the lesser known Memory. sorrow and thorn by Tad Williams, and the First Law by Abercrombie. Memory Sorrow and Thorn gave GRRM the idea to write Asoiaf

Lol if you're trying to stay upbeat don't read Abercrombie! Love love his books and worlds but damn his stories do not end happy.

Read the Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson. The magic system is so damn cool. Elantris is also a great book by the same author. Another good trilogy is the Darker Shade Trilogy by V. E. Schwab. Really good character development imo. If you haven't read Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time epic series, you can start it. I think book 1 (The eye of the world) is one of the best in the whole series. Some of the books just drag but it is such a worthwhile series to read.

Another oldie but goodie series is the Dragonlance chronicles by Tracy Hickman/Weis. Its a trilogy. Loved the characters (especially Raistlin). Really good overall lotr feel to it. One last suggestion is the Riftwar Saga by Raymond Feist. You will probably have to order the books, they are dated a bit but I love the story. Lots to read in the series. Good luck!
