I was lucky enough to catch them at Willie's 4th of July picnic right before Merle passed, and am so glad I got the opportunity. It's strange to think about it looking back, but if you would have told me one of them was close to death, I would have figured Willie at the time, but that man just keeps on chugging away (and I'm grateful for that, gotten to see him twice more since then).LRHF said:
Merle Haggard AND Willie Nelson at the same time. Unfortunately, Merle passed away weeks before the show near Canyon Lake on the Guadalupe River.

I asked my ENT once if I go completely deaf will I still hear the ringing and his response was YES.
