Working from home and very little to go out and do at night means I'm watching more movies these days and I'm sure I'm not alone there. Thought it might be nice to have a thread where everyone can drop in with what they've watched recently, have some discussion on it, other people can jump in and get suggestions, etc. I figure most people go to the respective threads for TV shows they're watching, and sometimes you can find the original thread for a movie, but that's not always the case.

I even put asterisks in the title so it would be official.

Watched a couple of movies yesterday.

Little Miss Sunshine (2006): Personal copy. Seen it a couple of times before but not in a long time. Always makes me laugh, decent writing but the real funny stuff is in the visual gags. The last 20 minutes or so of the movie never fails to make me laugh.

Free Fire (2016): Netflix. First time watching this one and couldn't find a thread for it. Decent enough shoot out/Reservoir Dog style movie with a great cast, only about 90 minutes long. It's from 2016, but got wide release in 2017, making it the fourth movie of that year to feature a John Denver song (Alien: Covenant, Kingsman, and Logan Lucky are the other 3 which all used Country Roads).

I've finished The Office, Parks & Rec, Witcher, Ozark Season 2, and am currently going through Season 3 of Ozark.

Only thing on that list I haven't seen is Witcher, maybe now is the time to do it.

My wife and I have also been watching Little Fires Everywhere on Hulu with Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington. It's not particularly great, kind of a Big Little Lies style show where it opens with a mystery and the season builds up to it, set in a 90's suburb in Ohio. The characters are not very likable and Kerry Washington maybe selling it all a little too much. Going to stick with it because I'm curious how it ends and I've got an obsession with Witherspoon.

Finished a rewatch of Band of Brothers and now we're onto Scrubs and Wonder Years. Also been working my way through Star Wars Rebels (finished up Clone Wars earlier).

Also a Marvel movie in there on occasion along with tons of Daniel Tiger and Phineas and Ferb.

Berlin Station on Epix. Finished season 1. Pretty good series so far.

Rewatch of Newsroom and Chernobyl

Had previously seen the 1st episode and liked it, but I usually have very little TV time so I never got any farther. Now I'm midway into season 2 and really enjoying it. Had no idea that Jemaine Clement was in this - he is hilarious as always.

Thinking about going through Newsradio afterward. One of the most underrated comedies of all time.

Legion is great. Fantastic performances from Clement, Plaza, and Stevens. It gets too tricky for it's own good at times but overall I enjoyed all 3 seasons.

Waiting for my wife to be able to watch Ozark S3. It's one of the few shows we watch together.

Witcher was really strange for me. It had some good moments, but not sure if I liked it. Kind of a mix between GoT and Xena Warrior Princess. The time jumps between (and sometimes during) the episodes left me a little confused, especially because none of the characters age.

New Bosch next week, right?

Rewatched Bernie (2011) on Amazon Prime yesterday. Always fun to see your neighbors, people you stand next to at the grocery store, and extended family members well represented in a movie.

Currently watching "Nailed It" on Netflix after seeing it in the top 10. That one makes me laugh a lot

I was the City Manager of Smithville at the time. I would tell the film companies that I wanted to be an extra. That scene was actually filmed in Bastrop.
