I've seen it many times before, but I just finished up Warrior with my son...he's in Krava Maga, so I need to show him something to aspire to 
And Nick Nolte absolutely crushed it as the old man. Unredeemed, flawed, and entirely believable as a bitter old father and husband. He's got a very limited ability to help his sons, but he's striving for it. And he kinda makes hte best part of the movie for me.
Dude was nails in this performance. So much so that I can't imagine anyone else in this role at all.
