A good friend of mine and fellow Aggie, Jake Hamilton, directed this fantastic documentary - JUMP SHOT: The Kenny Sailors Story - which was originally set for theatrical release on April 2. Then, of course, theaters shut down, but thankfully now a digital release has been secured for April 16.
I had a chance to see a rough cut a couple years ago, and it really is a great story, with a ton of familiar faces. Since then, it's been a huge hit on the festival circuit, and I can't express how cool it is to see mention of it popping up all over the place as of late. It's pretty incredible to see a friend start with an idea, then reach these heights with it - especially teaming with Steph Curry - after years of it being literally a solo effort prior.
