These are pretty much our opinions too. I really want to slap Kate pretty much every episode.

I've never wasted a second of my life watching it. I tend to judge books by their cover and feel pretty good about that. I'm pretty sure that show sucks.

Definitely a chick and old person show. My mom and and in laws love it. (All three are chicks) my dad won't watch it.

There are several dudes here that watch it because their wives, and won't admit they actually like it. It's because they're weenies.

I don't watch a lot of network TV, but thinking back to my favorite cable shows, I can't think of any that have such an agenda. Or at least an agenda that's not obvious anyway. For example, what agenda does Better Call Saul have? I can't think of any other than don't get involved with the cartel. West World? Maybe to push back on Google-like privacy intrusion? Chernobyl? Communism sucks? Game of Thrones? Don't trust women with dragons?

In This is Us, it's not in your face, but I see it all over the place. Like having a 10 year old come out. Or all the race stuff. Like, the 80s were still the Jim Crow era or something. Stuff like that.
