It is an alternative history show on HBO produced by David Simon based on the book by the same title

I watched the first two episodes. Acting is solid but everything else is pretty meh for me.

I enjoy it.
It's kinda like man in the high Castle without the alternate dimensional travel.

I've watched the first episode. I can't decide if I like it or I'm bored. Not sure if I like it enough to watch another episode.

Ive enjoyed it....i don't have the historical knowledge to know it if has been too heavy handed in trying to draw comparisons between contemporary political figures or if it is on target and there really was that big of an overlap between the factions from then and now.

I've watched all 5 episodes. I like it, but don't love it the way I thought I would. Production value is high. I love the look, feel, and authenticity of the 1941 NJ suburb they've created. Acting is top notch. I'm not sure how they satisfyingly wrap this up with just one more episode. It's a stand-alone series, right? They would not have a second season?

Yeah my understanding is that it is like the corner. One and done.

The corner was a masterpiece but it left me unsatisfied.
