Season 3 is one of the best seasons of comedy for me ever.

First three seasons are comedy gold. It's my go to sleep show every night.

Really looking forward to the first time Redstones lover here stumbles across MASH.

Better late than never, this is a great show.

I'm on Season 4, and going to push through it and season 5. But so far it has been no where near as good as seasons 1 through 3 -- those were on another level of funny.

The original three seasons are some of the best TV comedy ever made.

Is there anything redeeming about the Netflix seasons ? I watched the first Netflix season. Buster's episode was the only really funny one.

The greatness about the show is how funnier it gets each time you watch it.

The first time I watched it: my favorite character was GOB
2nd time: George Sr.
3rd time: George Michael
4th time and every subsequent time: Buster.

Season 4 was when Netflix took over, many years after the original run. It's entertaining, but it's a completely different show

Similarly, I watched s4 when Netflix first produced it and it thought it was pretty disappointing compared to the original 3 seasons.
But before s5, Netflix re-edited all of s4 into like 20 completely new episodes (you have to scroll waaaaay over to see the original s4 episodes).

1. Are the "new" season 4 episodes worth watching?

2. Or just skip to season 5?

3. Or just pretend 4 and 5 never happened and enjoy the brilliance of the original 3 seasons?

Seasons 1-3 are in my top 3 sitcoms of all times (Seinfeld and Curb being the other 2) but I just can't into seasons 4 and 5. I started, but gave up on both before finishing.

I remember when season 4 originally came out and being so excited for it, then let down by it, then told I was too dumb to get the genius of it.

Thx, that's what I was afraid of.

I was just telling a friend to start watching this morning. I told him that the First 3 seasons of that show are some of my favorite comedy tv of all time

Lindsey is really the only character (assuming we're not counting George Sr.'s brother) that for the most part I don't think is great. Every other character is amazing.
