Heck yeah, that's a great movie.
Really good; better as an adult.

13th Warrior is really underrated. Between John Mctiernan directing,( although it's rumored Crichton himself took over directing in the middle of it), Crichton's novel, Vikings, etc., it's hard not to like. Just a really solid film.

LOVED this movie. Didn't realize it was a Crichton novel, so I will have to add that to my kindle.
It has been a while and I think I might have watched it on YouTube because it wasn't available in the US at the time but I really enjoyed Solomon Kane
It's a great book. It was a rare movie adaption that I saw before reading the book. I loved the movie but wound up liking the book even better.
Enjoyed the movie when I was a kid, still enjoy it today.

I read all the Crichton books before any of the films so even if they were bad I enjoyed seeing them come to life. As movies I would go.

Congo - man I loved this book and hated this movie.
I've never seen the rest including the original WestWorld. I would argue 1-8 are all enjoyable movies and the top 5 are really good although as mentioned Twister wasn't a book.

I'd of liked it to be longer with some more backstory on the bad-asses that volunteered. Some show of them in other fighting scenes showing how big and awesome they were. You get some of that with a few of them in the later battles but a lot of them were taken out "too soon". Like the guy that basically tackles a horse during the first fire-worm battle; I want to see more of that guy!!

I'm a big Crichton fan. I miss his work. It seems like he would have figured out a way to put a few things out posthumously.
Best part when he bangs the hot blonde and the other warrior asks him if she finished him off or brought him back to life.

They've released 3 books since he died. They've were ok, Micro was good.
