I still love me some Boy Meets World.
We've been rewatching on Disney+. The first few season really hold up. They ratchet up the drama in 6 and 7 and it can be cringe worthy at times.
Maybe not a popular opinion, but I thought late-series Eric was hilarious.

We got addicted to 90210 and Melrose as a preparty activity before going to the tap on Wednesdays. We were in our later years of college and had been roommates for years, so the freshness of drinking with new friends was long over. We just needed something to bide the time as we caught a buzz and waited until 10 or 11 pm to go out. I can't believe I just typed that. Seems like I'm talking about someone else, definitely not 48 year old Philo B 83.

But that's the way it was.

This is a cool website of 90s tv stuff. The commercials are so nostalgic. Be careful though, it's addicting to watch. There is also 70s, and 80s.

My buddy and I would watch Melrose ahead of MNF....the unintentional comedy factor on that show was sky high. Have a couple beers and laugh our asses off at them trying to be so serious.

uh huh.

It's kind of interesting to go through the tv schedules from over the years. Looking back, I watched at least one thing almost every night as an 8-15 year old (what else was there to do on school nights at the time). Now, I don't watch a single thing on network tv.

Yeah just be cool that you and your buddy like to watch Melrose. It's ok. You don't have to make excuses about a show you like and preface it before MNF to add the masculine angle. I get it. I like watch the bachelor sometimes....

Not gonna lie. The YouTube hole I get stuck in sometimes is 90s commercials.

I watched an episode of The Heights, a little known 90s series about a band.
Used to love this show! I even had the CD that I acquired while working journalism in HS.

Another show like this one that I liked was The Catwalk. I remember it being somewhat like The Heights.

i'm going to give Saved by the Bell: the College Years a quick shout out. Yes, I'm sure it was silly, but I was thirteen when it came out, and it seemed very grown up to me at the time. I have a real nostalgia for all of SBTB, but for some reason, I really like the College Years.

I rewatched it several years back and I thought the college years were much better than I remembered and better then it gets credit for. Still silly, but I liked it.

Friends was awesome before Aniston starved herself for Brad Pitt. I swear the producers kept the temp on the set at 50 degrees and.the effect always kept my attention.

I really liked the Wonder Years at the time, but go back and watch and see how much of a hothead a-hole Kevin was. Good lord!

Freaking Kevin Amole! He was pretty much a dick.
