I know *of* her, but I don't know her nearly as well as others on the board seem to. I just checked her posting history and it's somewhat concerning that this was her last post. Granted, she looks to have a few postless days here and there, so this could simply be another one of those. Either way, I hope she's ok.

Not trying to be mean but the vague posting is unacceptable. There are several people who are worried about your well being and are afraid you may be in distress.

I see a doctor tomorrow.

I don't know what is wrong with me.
I am sad, unable to sleep or eat, and genuinely have to pretend to be happy right now. That is not normal.

I am not in a good spot and don't know what to do.

So I reached out for help by ranting on TA, but that can't do anything. A doctor can though.

I did that for about ten years and hated it. I loved all the extra time that I had, but never really felt comfortable with so little sleep.

In my case, though, it was mostly from just getting into a habit of not sleeping. It started when I had a full time job and was teaching Math part time at a university in Oklahoma.

That is probably a huge part of things.

My wife has dealt with this before, my best advice is to stay off the internet and lean on your closest family and friends right now
